I was updated on receipt of claim followed by very swift response for claim to be paid thereafter. They really are the No1 pet insurance provider whom I would recommend to anyone and everyone. They really are set up to care for your pet friend in their time of need and not just to extort premium payments for high gain profits.

Easy claim process for an existing condition with my young dog.
Payment was made directly to the vet without having to pay them and claim the cost back.
Great communication throughout with updates on the initial receipt and conclusion. Superb service .

Everything was made easy for me as this was the first time that I had to make a claim. It's quite difficult when you are dealing with a terminally ill pet.

I have had my dogs insured with Petplan since 2003 and in all that time I've only ever experienced an excellent and compassionate service in dealing with my claims which as an owner I really appreciate.

Fantastic service from an insurance company. I was very anxious with having to make a claim, I would have never expected to have ever made a claim for my puppy. Petplan have paid directly to the vets, very quickly.
My only wish, since having to use insurance (thankfully I had insurance) is that had more options of policies, as £12,000 doesn't go far. My pup has hif in both elbows, my £12,000 policy cover will just cover this, however I will need to hope and pray for the remainder of the year he doesn't need any treatment. Vet bills are extortionate, I never in a million years would have thought £12,000 would be spent so quickly. A policy of upwards £25,000 yearly would be more realistic in my opinion.

Offer a professional service with easy to use website, and the comfort of knowing the staff are professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, caring, and understanding.
Wish the NHS was facilitated and supported by the government in the same way, to have the freedom, choice,
co-production, and collaborative approach with prompt efficiency in their services as PetPlan.

Wouldn’t use them, vet advised my dog will be in pain through an ingrowing due claw and it needs to come off, pet plans letter back said as the animal wasn’t in pain they won’t pay, after many of letters from the vets they still said the dog had to be in pain before they would pay

So cruel and useless customer service

My poor girl has had ACL with all the relevant surgeries, x-rays, appointments and medications all paid promptly by the insurance from petplan, it's been such a weight off our minds. Fantastic comms as well.

I have made various claims for my dog over the last 10 years with pet plan and never had a claim rejected. It has always been a simple process and quick to pay out. Thank you pet plan for taking some of the stress away from my dog being I’ll.

Petplan is a fantastic Pet Insurance, very helpful and friendly from the start to finish of your claim very easy to follow, and keep's you updated with your claim, also very fast in paying out, nothing is a problem, it's nice to see the care for our pet's, would definitely recommend Petplan to all who have pet's, my No 1 in Pet insurance. I have chosen Pet Plan lLife Cover insurance for my lovely Labrador as always you never expected that can something happen but unfortunately it did always have the best support from Pet Plan Insurance, they replied quickly and dealing very promptly with any claim they are very trustworthy company I will highly recommend

Have all my cats insured with pet plan and this is the first time I’ve claimed. Completing the forms are easy and my claim was settled and paid within a week. Highly recommend for peace of mind when your pets become unwell, especially with the cost of vet bills.

Amazing service. The vet were used to dealing with claiming with PetPlan so I had full confidence to leave them to do this for me. Communication from PetPlan was excellent. And the payment came through very quickly. Outstanding. Highly recommend . No need to go anywhere else for your pet insurance.

From shadow needing the vets, I called Petplan just to check my policy details. They were excellent on the phone and emailed me the details straight away. Petplan are linked to my vets so the claim was dealt with by the vets. Easy , thank you so much.

Although Petplan refused my initial claim for Jessie's treatment they listened to me and quickly changed their mind. They have paid my claims without fail and I will be renewing Jessie's insurance cover very soon
